“Ladies and my dudes, introducing your 2045 Portland Californians!”
A Portland creative agency invited Nate Tabor, Tim Weakland and myself to imagine, alongside 5 other teams of designers and illustrators, what a possible future Portland major league baseball team would look like in the event that pigs happened to sprout wings and fly…and to raise money for the Portland Diamond Project.
We had a lot of fun deciding to take a very contemporary topic (“Gross! You got yr LA in my PDX!) and an antithetical aesthetic to the wet and mossy wonderland of Portland.
